About Me
Hi! I am Andi, and I have always been a wild and free spirit! I was born and raised in Massachusetts, and now live in community in Southern New Hampshire. I have migrated into a total life change after a successful 20+ year career in Information Technology & Software Systems Management, and raising one child. Prompting this change was my discovery of yoga and meditation and in my studies, I discovered that I wish to help people in these ways. I began deep study of yoga & meditation and received certifications in 2015 & 2016 Hatha, 2019 Vinyasa, and 2022 Kundalini. I pursued a number of teaching roles in studios and studio Admin support roles over those years, and developed a yoga program at my local Buddhist temple. A different shift happened in 2020 with my discovery of plant medicine, I began to deeply study Indigenous cultures and practices, participated in and served at retreats, and completed a Kambo practitioner training to deepen my knowledge. I then completed a 30-day “dieta”, serving myself with this amazing jungle medicine to further study it, before opening up to serving others. Beginning in 2021 to the present, I guide Kambo ceremonies to assist people on their path. That same year, I also received my Level 1 clinical herbalism certification. With this expanding knowledge of our earth as a natural source of medicine, I began to forage with reverence, garden and cultivate herbal remedies. I incorporate a lot of our wild edibles into my recipes. I am the lead gardener at the community where I live.
My passion for whole plant-based vegan and gluten free cooking came from a deep self study of proper eating for health and well being, and I prepare dishes through my own lense of that experience. Discovering Ayurveda was the catalyst for this, and along with a deep belief of ‘food as medicine’ my offerings allow me to cater mindful menus for conscious community gatherings, dieta friendly menus for plant medicine retreats, and unique offerings for private events.
